Rachael was taught the craft of chair caning and rush seating by her father who had himself been taught by his father Michael South.
Her deep knowledge of chair caning, rush, Danish paper cord and other seat weaving techniques have resulted in a keen understanding of the requirements when working with fine antiques or contemporary classics.
